Marni's House is within walking or biking distance of the ferry. The rooms are flooded with natural light, uncluttered and open. The many windows look out on tranquil grounds with a goldfish pond that the deer and the ducks often visit. The West Chop Woods, with 80 acres of conservation forest, are across the street. A small public beach on the harbor is just a 10 minute walk for those who like early morning or late evening dips and the town beaches on the Sound are a short drive away.

Marni's House is a warm hospitable place and all are welcome. Women in particular, have found the atmosphere suits their needs for rest and relaxation with enough privacy or companionship as they may wish.

THE SUNLIT ROOM has a queen size bed and French doors that open onto a large deck. Its luxurious bathroom has a jacuzzi/soak tub.

THE TOWER has a loft with a double futon and a double bed in the nook below. It's perfect for two friends or a couple with child. It includes a private half bath and a wonderful outdoor shower on its own deck among the treetops.

THE TREEHOUSE has two twin beds or one king. Its own entrance is off a deck with a tree growing through it and the private bathroom features an Asian soak tub/shower-- round and deep like a barrel. This room accepts well behaved pets.

 

Marni specializes in homemade breads. The sumptuous, creative, continental breakfasts are served in a kitchen/dining room at a lion legged oak table or outside in the shade of a wisteria covered deck

.

There are two occasionally mischievous cats in residence. Oscar a classy mature gentleman of extreme shyness and Lotte a rambunctious adolescent (shown here). They are great friends. Neither of them are allowed in the bedrooms.
