Sadly summer is over and Nancy and I are both back in school. As we think back over our very relaxing summer, one of the highlights was our stay with you and our time on Martha's Vineyard. Biking in the sun, the breeze through the treetops, iced tea with fresh lemon on the deck, and especially the famous breakfasts you served us, were all glorious. We plan to come back and we're telling all our friends about Marni's House. your attention to all the tiny details is superb. My first B&B. Thank you for the warm hospitality and the 'comfortabality' of my short stay -- too short! I was very moved and delighted by the careful attention you've given to this home -- the tiny nic-nacs, the light pouring in from everywhere, the sense of thoughtful caring that is evident in this wonderful place of peace and solace. Words can't express how truly incredible my experience has been staying here in an atmosphere of total relaxation! All of your special touches throughout this serene setting don't go unnoticed. Thanks for sharing your talents & helping the workaholics to stop and smell the flowers. The second time is even better! This is truly a sanctuary for the weary. I always feel refreshed and relaxed when I leave. It was great to share this experience with my husband for our 20th anniversary. Thank you for making it special. We will surely be back... loved the breakfast & the outdoor shower is great. What a wonderful home, wonderful setting and wonderful hospitality! Your breakfasts were remarkable, never mind the cozy room that made us want to retire after such an indulgent meal. And you've thought of everything! The bathroom is better stocked than ours at home. Thank you for making our first night away from the baby such a great get-away. We visited Marni's house in November of 2000 and was more than pleasantly surprised at what a pleasant time we spent there. The house itself is absolutely lovely and the room that I had was particularly nice with two beds, one of which was a loft bed with windows all over. It was a bit like sleeping under the sky. Marni makes wonderful breakfasts, too and the smell of freshly baked bread is so nice whether it is in the evening or the early morning. I'll be back, you can be sure of that. Your home and hospitality were an oasis in our desert of stress we call life. you helped resurface the simple pleasures we once enjoyed before adulthood's chain of responsibilities arrested our ability to relax. Most of all, this weekend we were able to witness the care and attention reserved for kings and queens. Your kindness was indeed the most special and memorable ingredient to a most delicious weekend. Here's the 'Best Kept Secret on the Island!' The glorious sourroundings, the charming house, your warm hospitality and of course: those amazing breakfasts! We really appreciated the 'tidbits' of island knowledge and reccomendations. Thanks for making our anniversary weekend that much more special! You will be highly recommended and see us again.
